Other activities during the week include farm walks, tours of local agricultural and horticultural enterprises and interactive training demonstrations. The program is not just about experiencing the facilities and the training however, it also focuses on getting students to participate in a variety of group activities developing their problem solving and communication skills and conceptual thinking which will be integral to success in their studies and jobs.
