What student age group is the program designed for?
Years 10, 11 and 12.

How many students will participate?
A maximum of 20 students are able to attend the Burdekin program.

Sunday

• Afternoon – arrive on campus and settle in

Monday

• Morning – welcome, induction, orientation, set up groups and brief on group projects

• Afternoon – tour of campus and local district

Tuesday

• Morning – training Session

• Afternoon – tour of local agricultural enterprises

Wednesday

• Morning – tour of local cane harvesting operations

• Afternoon – training session

• Evening – viewing of cane fire

Thursday

• Revision, present group projects

• Student interviews

• Afternoon – tour of local innovative farming operations

• Games evening

Friday

• Return home
