Overview of the Agricultural College
The Australian Agricultural College Corporation was formed on 1 July 2005 when the following colleges joined forces with the aim of becoming Australia's premier provider of rural training:
- Australian College of Tropical Agriculture (incorporating Burdekin Agricultural College and Mareeba Environmental College)
- Dalby Agricultural College
- Emerald Agricultural College
- Longreach Pastoral College.
The new college combines more than 130 years’ experience in agricultural education and training in a range of specialisations, across five campuses located in a range of different geographic and climatic regions.
Choosing this centre of training excellence will give you access to industry relevant-courses, committed expert instructors, and training grounds totaling 59 800 hectares throughout Queensland.
